Iota Zeta Sigma, the first alumnae chapter to charter in metro Atlanta in more than 15 years, serves Atlanta and the North Fulton, DeKalb and Gwinnett counties. Since chartering, we have experienced steady growth, with several reactivating and transferring Sorors now calling IZS their Sigma home.*
Our members represent various backgrounds and talents, and each eagerly takes an active role in the development of the chapter as well as in carrying out the Sorority’s National Program. IZS members actively participate in the Sorority’s national programs as a unit and individually. Locally, the chapter has created several unique programs that serve the metro Atlanta community.
Iota Zeta Sigma continues to expand our reach through our newly formed APPEAL Foundation. A non-profit organization established in 2005, the APPEAL Foundation educates and empowers underprivileged women and children through volunteerism, financial assistance, scholarships and grants.
In addition to Sigma, our members are affiliated with several civic and professional organizations.
After taking one look at Iota Zeta Sigma Alumnae Chapter, you’ll agree that we’re “Sigma Women Making a Difference … Through Service and Action!”
